I bought this to mount on my street bike because there was an incident many years ago where I was cut off and had to lay down my bike to avoid a collision. Without a witness my insurance told me "no collision, so it was your fault." Like I should have gotten injured or killed to make sure my insurance didn't find me at fault! Ever since I've had a looping recorder on my motorcycles. This one has great image quality. I run it one step down from full resolution 2.7 but at 60 frames per second to capture as much details as possible with less blur. It has great resolution compated to the last one that I ran at 1080p 30 fps. The caveat... When I turn on the ignition, if I wait a few seconds to hit the starter the accessory power turns off for an instant to allow full power to the starter. During that glitch, the camera for whatever reason puts itself into to battery charge mode and doesn't record. I have to make sure I start the engine immediately after turning the key on to prevent that. Other than that, I've had no problems.
