Naturally, I did not see the product description that details these bags for wool or batt insulation only. I am removing blown-in cellulose, but I accepted the risk and used the bags anyway. The major difference is the creation of dust, so if I was in a more residential area I would have certainly purchased the bags specific for blown-in material.I have found the bags to be of quality construction and really easy to use. I'm using a 1HP dust collector to extract the insulation from the attic straight into these bags and I'm surprised how well this has worked for me. Using this setup does force me to fill the bags in a vertical position rather than horizontal, and I also lose the compaction capabilities. I believe the vacuums specified for this application are upwards of 13HP, but I did not have a rental available nearby.I would definitely recommend this product. I certainly hope I never have to purchase this product again, because this job does suck, but if I had the need I would not hesitate.
